EF coaching provides an individualized approach to create conscious awareness of motivations, skills, and values, allowing individuals to recognize their purpose and meet their potential.
Kara Matejka, MA, ET/P
In my early 30s I learned I have dyslexia and ADHD, which helped to solve the mystery of why I love learning but never thrived in a traditional school environment! I hope to simplify the journey to success for other 2Es, striving to be the guide I needed as I struggled to manage the pressures of adult responsibilities, school, and work.
I’m passionate about fostering a love for learning through personalized coaching, aiming to help individuals reach their full potential by building confidence and empowering them to see beyond their challenges. I have extensive experience supporting diverse populations, including non-native English speakers, multicultural and blended families, and first-generation college students, prioritizing a coaching style that fosters self-awareness and promotes positive change to improve EF skills.
As a Learning Specialist at the Schwab Learning Center, I worked with Stanford University students suspected or diagnosed with ADHD or dyslexia, aiming to improve academic efficiency through executive skill development. As a College Counselor, I have advised hundreds of high school students who have been accepted into every T20 university in the United States and internationally. I have seven years of international experience as an ESL teacher and educational consultant.
